Saboda yawan ingancinsa, rashin guba da kuma sauƙin lalacewa, ana amfani da shi sosai wajen jure sanyi ga shuke-shuke.
Duk da haka, yawancin binciken da aka yi a yanzu game da ALA sun fi mayar da hankali kan daidaita ƙarshen hanyar sadarwa. Tsarin kwayoyin halitta na aikin ALA a cikin farkon jure sanyi ga tsirrai a halin yanzu ba a fayyace shi ba kuma yana buƙatar ƙarin bincike daga masana kimiyya.
A watan Janairun 2024, Binciken Noma ya buga wani bincike mai taken "5-Aminolevulinic Acid Yana Inganta Juriyar Sanyi Ta Hanyar Daidaita Tsarin SlMYB4/SlMYB88-SlGSTU43 Mai Aiki da Tsarin Tace Oxygen a Tumatir" wanda tawagar Hu Xiaohui a fannin noma da gandun daji na Jami'ar Northwestern ta wallafa.
A cikin wannan binciken, an gano kwayar halittar glutathione S-transferase SlGSTU43 a cikin tumatir (Solanum lycopersicum L.). Sakamakon binciken ya nuna cewa ALA tana haifar da bayyanar SlGSTU43 sosai a lokacin sanyi. Layukan tumatir masu canzawa waɗanda suka wuce gona da iri waɗanda suka nuna SlGSTU43 sun nuna ƙaruwar ƙarfin iskar oxygen na nau'in oxygen mai amsawa sosai kuma sun nuna juriya mai mahimmanci ga ƙarancin zafin jiki, yayin da layukan masu canzawa na SlGSTU43 suna da saurin kamuwa da ƙarancin zafin jiki.
Bugu da ƙari, sakamakon binciken ya nuna cewa ALA ba ta ƙara jure wa nau'in maye gurbi zuwa ga ƙarancin zafin jiki ba. Don haka, binciken ya nuna cewa SlGSTU43 muhimmin kwayar halitta ce a cikin tsarin haɓaka jure sanyi a cikin tumatir ta hanyar ALA (Hoto na 1).
Bugu da ƙari, wannan binciken ya tabbatar ta hanyar gano EMSA, Y1H, LUC da ChIP-qPCR cewa SlMYB4 da SlMYB88 na iya daidaita bayyanar SlGSTU43 ta hanyar ɗaurewa da mai haɓaka SlGSTU43.
