A cikin Janairu 2024, Binciken Horticultural Research ya buga takarda bincike mai suna "5-Aminolevulinic Acid yana haɓaka Haƙurin sanyi ta hanyar daidaita SlMYB4/SlMYB88-SlGSTU43 Reactive Oxygen Species Scavenging Module a cikin Tumatir" ta ƙungiyar Hu Xiaohui a Jami'ar Arewa maso Yamma ga Jami'ar Arewa maso yamma.
A cikin wannan binciken, an gano glutathione S-transferase gene SlGSTU43 a cikin tumatir (Solanum lycopersicum L.).Sakamakon binciken ya nuna cewa ALA yana ƙarfafa furcin SlGSTU43 a ƙarƙashin damuwa mai sanyi.Layin tumatir transgenic overexpressing SlGSTU43 ya baje kolin haɓaka haɓakar nau'in iskar oxygen mai ƙarfi sosai kuma yana nuna juriya ga ƙarancin zafin jiki, yayin da SlGSTU43 mutant Lines sun kasance masu kula da ƙarancin zafin jiki.
